Background: I am a 4th year Law Student from India. My interest in Environmental Law stems from a National Moot I had taken part in my 2nd year, wherein the issue of a possible plastic ban and its impact was discussed. In the course of my research, I developed a deep fascination for the subject. This interest further developed in one of my internships at a Local NGO wherein we had worked to provide cleaner water to localities in and around the city. In the present semester, one of my Courses is Environmental Law and I came to realise that my interest never wavered. As I am in my pen-ultimate year, I am considering this as a possible specialisation and would be grateful to gain more exposure on the subject. The current climate crisis requires a joint effort and I would be grateful to do my part when I graduate.

Why You Would Like to Join The Scheme / What You Hope To Get Out Of The Scheme: I hope to pursue my Masters in Environmental Law along with Human Rights and I believe that this programme would take me one step closer to my goal.

Looking For: A Climate Justice Mentor
